Dutch-British psych-pop artist Someone has delivered another stellar single in the form of ‘I’m Not Leaving’. It’s largely a gentle single, with delicate acoustic guitar strumming making up the majority of the accompaniment for her dreamy vocal, but a cinematic quality is introduced when the track climaxes. This cinematic grandeur is perfectly complemented by the Midsommar-esque video that feels like bright, folk-horror and a reflection of the hopeful lyrics of the track. ‘I’m Not Leaving’ is taken from her debut album, Shapeshifter, which is due for release on September 10^th, 2021. -Dan Peeke
